Drink; Just as important as the food
Choose from one of our ever changing, hand pumped real ales and ciders. We will always have at least three cask ales and at least two ciders – one traditionally still, the other sparkling. Cask ale is extremely important to us and we are always looking to source new and exciting beers. We always stock the traditional Butcombe Bitter and with the other two beer engines we try to keep it local, but occasionally tour the country. In addition to our draught ales we also stock a range of bottle beers from around the world.
Our wine list is simple yet comprehensive with over thirty wines, featuring wine from the classic French regions to the more ‘out there’ new world wine. Start with a glass of bubbly, we can help to match a wine with a dish and end on some lovely sticky wines.
The soft drinks are important here too. We have a wide range of fruit juices from a variety of local producers.
